Shakespeare's Sister

Give an example of how women today are still being oppressed in ways described by Virginia Woolf.

- "She was as adventurous, as imaginative,as agog to see the world as he was. But she was not sent to school. She had no chance of learning grammar and logic" (pg. 697 para. 7). Even though in those times women were as gifted as men, they never got to show their full potential. Even nowadays women are still being oppressed in some cultures due to the mentally of of some people. It all depends on how some people are raised. For example, my personal experience that I've had observed in my family is my great grandpa always viewed women as useless people and were only good for caring of the family. My great grandma was really talented in crafting but she never got to show it to the world.
