Alexia ReneeArellano

Hi everyone! My name is Alexia Arellano. I was born in Pasadena, California. However, I raised in West Covina, California for about eight years and then we moved to Victorville, California where I lived for about ten years. I know three languages: English, Spanish, and Italian. The reason why I learned Italian is because I've always loved their culture and wanted to know more about them. Now my goal is to learn American Sign Language. In high school, I played the saxophone for about four years. My schoolwould have two different concerts (Spring & Winter). Also growing up, I had a passion for running. In my elementary school, we had a "Junior Olympic" where different schools would come to compete and I won a medal. I am majoring in Radiology. Radiology is dealing with X-rays and any other high-energy radiation. Such radiation is used for the diagnosis and treatment of a disease. The reason why I choose this is major is because I've always had an interest in being in the medical field. Ever since I was little my family would tell me that I use to bandage them to "cure them." Also my mom and I would always watch ER shows and all type of medical shows. As I grew older, I would accompany my grandma to the doctors and I was fascinated by all the gadgets.
